CHICAGO IS A UNION TOWN stickers
I created & sold stickers in support of the Howard Brown Health Workers’ Union’s strike against unfair labor practices in January 2023. Sticker sales raised over $550 for the strike fund.
The stickers subsequently benefitted the UICUF strike fund.
ARTISTS FOR BRANDON JOHNSON
I began creating art in support of Brandon Johnson’s campaign in the fall of 2022. I independently sold stickers to support the campaign, which raised over $500. That design was later made into a shirt by the Chicago Teachers Union.
I was a proud signatory of the Artists for Brandon Johnson letter in March 2023. My wife and I independently organized an artist meet up, which turned into a banner-making party with the support of Grassroots Collaborative. We then worked on some behind the scenes support for Artists for Brandon, primarily in collaboration with Monica Trinidad. I designed graphics for stopvallas.com. With the support of Grassroots Collaborative and United Working Families, my wife, my mom, and I created a 20’ x 6’ banner that was displayed at a Get Out the Vote rally with Brandon Johnson and Bernie Sanders.
I can’t wait to see what Mayor Johnson will do for our city, and hold him accountable to the promises he made to our communities on the trail.

A dozen artists met in our home to brainstorm, collaborate, and dream together. We created 5 banners that were later dropped around the city!

I worked with the Chicago Teachers Union (of which I am a proud member!) to create shirts with my design.

I created graphics for stopvallas.com, which raised awareness of Vallas’s background and the danger he posed to our city.

My wife, my mom, and I created a 20’ x 6’ banner that was displayed at the Brandon & Bernie Get Out the Vote rally.

COMING SOON: art in support of the Pretrial Fairness Act!
Since October 2022, I have been serving as an artist organizer for the Illinois Network for Pretrial Justice in order to create art in support of pretrial fairness & combat misinformation.
It has been a joy to create art in community with amazing artists & visionaries. In addition to my own digital illustrations, I attended the art build for K Rodriguez’s banner (pictured - I’m wearing the backwards hat & my wife is beside me!).
